I recently read up about Microsoft LightSwitch and some of the possibilities it opens up for business applications.  From what I could tell, this seems like a great next step for companies looking to migrate away from Access databases and into more robust solutions.  Most promising was the ability to quickly roll out a desktop application and at the same time push a web-based application with just a few clicks.  I also liked the validation for email addresses and phone numbers.  I’m doing my best to get into the program testing to see if I could putz around with it for a while.
